Back from London but not forgotten, it has been one year since the London bombing but we did not let the new significance of 7/7 overshadow its idiosyncratic meaning for several of us (i.e., CJ's B'day 7/7/1955; 51 years today, also Mahler's birthday for the classical music lovers and Ringo's for the pop music enthusiasts to mention a few). Thanks go out to all who helped me remember and celebrate.

The 4th of July activities at Piping Rock Club (i.e., sports contests with the Creek Club, BBQ, Bagpipers, Fireworks and related cocktail parties) were as great as ever. Sky-Jumping was canceled due to thunder and lightening storms in the area but not a single drop of rain fell on the club.

J'étais nostalgique du sentiment quand je suis retourné dans mon ancienne maison parisienne pour célébrer avec mes amis parisiens, puis le voyage en plein air avec le festival de jazz dans la zone financière était tout simplement magnifique. C'était égal à la récréation que nous avons eu l'année dernière à Roland Garros. Nous avons dîné, bu des vins français de qualité exquise dans les meilleurs restaurants français et dansé toute la nuit. Il était donc l'heure du petit déjeuner car le soleil se levait. Nous devons faire ce voyage plus souvent. Je te souhaite le meilleur.
